[dropcap]D[/dropcap]id you know that DOPE is an acronym? It stands for Defending Our Plant Everywhere—which is exactly what the team here at DOPE does, day in and day out. DOPE Magazine was founded in 2011 and put the inaugural issue in the hands of HEMPFEST attendees in Seattle. We have been normalizing cannabis through our monthly print magazines, digital platform, social media handles and events. We are an interesting bunch with varying backgrounds, hobbies, passion projects and lifestyles.
We have knitters, skiers, yogis, musicians, pet rescuers, gamers, Seattle Sounder’s fanatics and of course the whole bunch of us are dog lovers. You will often find our furry four-legged friends roaming around the office.
Cannabis is a lifestyle and our team here at DOPE understands that not all cannabis consumers are the same. That’s why our staff’s varying backgrounds in design, journalism, sales, event production, finance and videography allow us to bring you a diverse selection of articles, videos and events. We are dedicated to catering to our diverse audience—hey, you’re just like us.
