Apothecary Farms – Denver, CO
Apothecary Farms is Colorado’s first concentrate-focused dispensary. Their new location in Denver has been in business since early February, where they offer their connoisseur services for both medical and recreational costumers. I was particularly impressed by the enthusiasm of the staff who greeted me and couldn’t get enough of the passion and excitement for their products. The staff is made up of highly experienced horticulture experts who will help fulfill whatever cannabis need you have while visiting their Denver spot.
Located on South Broadway Street in Denver, it’s easy to access off Santa Fe Avenue from I-25. With such a condensed amount of dispensaries in that area, it’s important to weed out the mediocre ones before making the journey to Broadsterdam (see what I did there?). I loved the openness and the industrial contrast of exposed brick and wood accents throughout the shop. Concentrates and flowers are the promised focus at this store, so you won’t be swamped by tourists trying to get their hands on weed brownies. Although if you are a first-timer, you can come here and see what the cool kids are smoking.
The pride and joy at Apothecary Farms is Ambrosia, their trademarked line of live resin concentrates, made from highly sought after genetics, and are always processed in house. The growers boast about their garden being one of the most pristine in Colorado (perhaps a garden feature at some point down the road is in order). A few of my favorite Ambrosia products include Death Valley Cheese (Deadhead OG x Chem Valley Kush) x (Deadhead OG x Cheese), Raspberry Lychee (East Coast Sour Diesel x Blackberry Kush) and Jamband (T.R.U.T.H. x Headband). Even though they were all unique in their consistency, you can always expect to find some salivating terp sauce and luscious diamonds in each jar. They also pride themselves on the “Internally Flawless Series,” where they sell the largest of their THCa diamonds by the carat in custom made boxes. As if you aren’t already sold, consider the fact that Apothecary Farms also sells flower from 14er up in Boulder — Some of the best flower available in the state, hands down!
