Brehanna Daniels

NASCAR’s First Black Female Tire Changer

Currently, only eight percent of NASCAR viewership is black — which makes Brehanna Daniels’ unique achievement all the more compelling. Daniels, a former college athlete who found her way to the track through her university’s Drive For Diversity program, is the first black female tire changer in NASCAR history. “I'm doing things for not only myself,” Daniels told us, “but [for] other people out there who might have always wanted to be a part of NASCAR.”
