Cannabis is about community and building friendships, and the warm staff at CannaCopia excel in both arenas. The budtenders truly relate to their clientele on a personal level. By strategically hiring workers with skillsets from both a cannabis and medical background, GM Winston Radan provides CannaCopia with a diverse, well-balanced staff of friendly professionals. As it’s located off the strip, the clientele is mostly local; budtenders, therefore, are actively encouraged to attend local cannabis events to build relationships within the community. The staff are also asked to endorse the brands they carry, so they can rep their favorites to customers.

CannaCopiacame to be via its original owner, Mark James, a former Nevada State Senator and Clark County Commissioner, and his partnership group. Across the street from the Hakkasan corporate office (an upscale nightclub and restaurant), their idea was to open a dispensary that catered to one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Las Vegas. When it came to designing their vision, James knew the shop would need to have an inviting, non-intimidating flow. CannaCopia, unlike many other dispensaries during the transition from medical to recreational cannabis in Nevada, was the first to showcase their vendors’ cannabis packaging in jewelry-style display cases, setting the standard for most Nevada dispensaries and “Vegas-ifying” the traditional dispensary look.
