Stay Gold With Ganja Goddess: Taking Cannabis to a New High

The History

When Ganja Goddess (GG) first opened its doors in November of 2014, the cannabis industry was drastically different than it is today. Since then, GG has established itself as one of the leaders in the recreational market, in terms of products sales and customer service, boasting several accolades from across the industry. “Ganja Goddess was brought into the world to be a welcoming place for all people to purchase cannabis, especially women,” says Ananda, store manager since the store’s conception. As one of the first recreational stores to open in Seattle, GG has spent the last few years proving their dedication and commitment.

The People

The main reason to visit Ganja Goddess is to experience the unparalleled customer service. The gold and black clad budtenders are always ready with a smile and a wealth of knowledge ensuring that customers find the right strain or desired experience. GG’s mission is to help educate the public about cannabis. The budtenders are patient and more than willing to answer questions, and if they don’t know an answer, they aren’t afraid to say so and will to try to find someone who does. It’s easy to become a regular here; customers are often greeted by name when they walk in the shop, and the budtenders go above and beyond to help.

The Place

Ganja Goddess is based out of the 100-year-old Vertigo Building, one of Seattle’s official historical sites, located in the flourishing green SoDo district. The shop designer worked with sacred geometry in their layout plans, creating a warm and inviting feeling through exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Glass cases line the walls, packed with a wide variety of product, and no two displays are the same. There are also opportunities to converse with their vendors on Thursdays, and enjoy live music on Fridays.
