Harvest of AZ – Camp Verde, AZ
Located in the beautiful valley of Camp Verde, Harvest began in 2017, with its first ‘harvest’ coming down on the 5th of May. Since then, the crew has come together to grow as a vertically integrated business and a supremely efficient team. “At Harvest, we don’t just cultivate plants, we cultivate our people. We haven’t come this far because we grow cannabis really well,” says Cultivation Manager Josh Barnhart, “we are where we are because we have a great team and we all share the same vision of becoming the most valuable cannabis company in the world.”
Their pristine, indoor greenhouse spans an impressive 32,000 square feet, with more than 20,000 dedicated to flower, as well as an outdoor cultivation covering more than three acres. Continuously experimenting with different phenotypes, their library currently features 38 rotating strains with more on the way and can produce a maximum of 200 pounds per week during peak season. Soon to be fully converted, the facility uses LED lights to complement their aerated soil blend of 70 percent coco coir media with 30 percent perlite. Coupled with their OMNI approved, 100 percent organic pesticide treatment, the team can provide a stable, clean and consistent environment for each plant to reach its maximum potential. Even with all of his skillful techniques put in place, Barnhart has a few innovative designs up his sleeve to further streamline the harvesting process, including the highly effective method for moving the plants from one stage to the next using his ‘transfer rail’ which runs the length of the greenhouse.
With all the systems in place, Harvest consistently produces an exceptional, terpene-rich product, with many strains surpassing a potency of 30 percent THC, such as the White 99, Green Crack and Raspberry Do-Si-Dos. Harvest also has an off-site extraction lab that produces concentrates and provides distillate for edible infusion including top-shelf products like Flourish. Harvest has nine dispensaries in AZ alone and has recently made several acquisitions and partnerships in several other states and intends on having 60 dispensaries open by the end of 2019. With more growth on the way, Harvest is showing no signs of slowing down, “heading anywhere and everywhere.”
