Pisces (February 18 – March 20)
It’s all about you this for the first half of the month, Pisces! To continue celebrating yet another year of life, use Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon on the 5th and 6th to review who you’ve been over the last year. Do you like the person you’ve been, or do you want to consider some changes and upgrades for 2019? This is your life, you can to decide, so if the desire to change it up with a new look and perspective is in your heart, follow that urge. With Uranus moving into Taurus for the next 8 years you get to reinvent the way that you think and communicate your ideas. If in the past you were hesitant to share your opinions, know that that’s likely to change, just be conscious of how your words and opinions, especially the more shocking ones, make an impact. Adjust your filter, but don’t get rid of it all together! The beginning of spring brings in an active Full Moon that wants you to focus on all the emotional and psychological baggage that’s been keeping stuck in place and prevents you from living the life you’ve always dreamed of. If going to therapy has been on your mind, this would be a good time to hash it out with professional or someone that you trust for more clarity around how your fears and vulnerabilities have been undermining your growth.
Aries (March 20 – April 20)
Use the New Moon and Mercury Retrograde, both in Pisces, to find stillness and quiet so that you can hear your heart more clearly, Aries. After eight years of having Uranus, the planet of sudden change and innovation, in your sign, you’re probably a very different person than you were at the beginning of this journey called life. Focus on what you want to manifest for yourself next, especially when it comes to your finances and your sense of self-worth. Is the money you’re making (or not making) good enough? Are you making it in ways that make you feel confident and content, or not really? Trust that whatever’s not meant for you anymore in this part of your life will find a way to make a sudden exit, so don’t stress the upheaval too much as the Universe just wants you to be real about what your values are, even if they appear to be unusual from the outside. March 20th kicks off your birthday season with a brilliant Full Moon that’s all about you focusing on your relationships and evaluating which ones will be making the cut and which ones will be melting away with the last of the winter’s snow. Don’t sweat the breakups, Ram, because by the time your planetary ruler Mars moves into Gemini at the end of the month you’ll be too busy traveling, writing, chatting and socializing to feel heartbreak or loss, which is perfectly fine with you. Happy Birthday, Aries, may 2019 bring you greatness!
Taurus (April 20 – May 21)
This is your moment of truth, Taurus. Last spring and summer gave you a small taste of what to expect when Uranus, the planet of revolutionary change, entered your sign for the first time in 84 years. Now he will be entering your sign for the next eight years on the 6th and inspiring you to change radically on a deeply personal level. For you, this may start out as wanting to change your wardrobe or your hair and any of your personal signatures so that they feel more aligned to who you’re becoming. The key is to let go of resistance and wanting to control everything, Bull, which may be easier said than done for you. You have support though: Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon on the 5th and 6th will be encouraging you to go outside and mingle with people who share your vision and hopes for the future. Say yes to invitations coming in as you may find a whole new crew while you’re socializing and having a good time. Learn to flow with the changes this month as you’ll find that despite the uncertainty and shifts that are beyond your immediate control, you’ll still enjoy good standing amongst your peers at work and in the public domain. The Full Moon on the 20th heralds springtime as well as new focus on your health, daily routines and work-life. You’re not going to get the results that you want by sitting around eating cookies, Taurus, so shake off the heaviness of winter and get to work making your day-to-day run like a well-oiled engine.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
The time is coming for you to pick a life direction, Gemini. March starts off with Mercury Retrograde and a New Moon in your House of Career and Reputation, asking you what it is that you want for yourself here. Now if you’re not 100 percent sure just yet, you’re in luck, as Mercury will be giving you several weeks to review what your ultimate needs and goals are when it comes to your career trajectory. Focus on what makes you feel inspired and like your gifts are recognized and can be of service. Be mindful about any new jigs or positions that come in around this time as they may be light on details and fizzle out due to miscommunications and misunderstandings. Use your downtime to chill out on your own so you can work through those spiritual blocks that keep you from expressing your creativity and talents to their full potential. Pay attention to your dreams and fantasies as they’re sending you insightful hints about where to go next. You’ll be feeling more like yourself by the time springtime comes around and the Full Moon pushes you to have fun with friends and pour your energy into your creative projects and a little romance. Mars’ move into your sign at the end of the month will mean its full speed ahead as your energy will get a healthy boost and the drive to make things happen for yourself.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
What do you believe in, Cancer? That’s the big question for the month of March, as Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon lights up your philosophies and belief systems for you to review and edit how you perceive and process the world at large. Consider how your sense of faith or lack thereof has influenced how you navigate your life and whether or not it works for you. These are big picture questions worth grappling with because they inform your decision making especially when it comes to how much you prioritize yourself, your needs and wants versus those of others. Yes, it’s wonderful that you’re a nurturer and bring out the best in others, but do you extend that same energy to yourself? Think about it, and be willing to change those dynamics that leave you drained and overinvested in other people’s wellbeing rather than your own. This month will be bringing in new friends to help you re-prioritize and re-imagine the kind of future you want going forward so stay open to their unusual advice. The Full Moon on the 20th wants you to look at how well you’ve been managing your work-life balance with an emphasis on getting some much needed downtime at home so that facing the public feels easier and not as demanding. Take care of you first, Cancer and everything else will follow.
Leo (July 22 – August 23)
Learning about yourself in relation to others is how one learns perspective, Leo. That’s how the month starts off for you with Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon urging you to take a closer look at how you’ve entwined your energy with others for better or for worse. Take a look at your debts and loans and where you can free up more cash or be more disciplined with your spending. Investigate your more intimate bonds with people and where you’ve been letting pride and shame keep you from getting the most out of your relationships because you want to appear like you have it all under control. The fact is, Leo, control can be an illusion you’re clinging to in an effort to feel protected from the unexpected. Challenge yourself to embrace the unforeseen especially with Uranus coming into the picture to shake up your public image and career so that you’re more in line with your soul’s desire. Admittedly this won’t always be easy, so try to be gentle with yourself when you’re feeling unsure. Springtime brings with it a fresh Full Moon that wants you to open up your mind to new possibilities and be willing to share what you’ve been discovering with your friends. You’ll be feeling more like yourself by the time Mars enters Gemini and asks you to start taking action on those shared hopes and dreams you have for the future so that everyone can enjoy your bright ideas.
Virgo (August 23 – September 23)
The Universe is drilling into you that you don’t have to do everything on your own, Virgo. As self-efficient as you are, sometimes it just nice to have another person around to share your wins and woes with. Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon on the 5th and 6th of the month will be asking you to review, revise and dream up a new vision that you want to see come to life around your one-on-one relationships. Don’t stress out about the people who may be coming or going in your life right now, think of it as a cosmic shuffling of the energy that’s getting you closer to having partnerships that feel more fulfilling. Just be mindful about committing to binding marriage or business contracts around this time as they may unravel once Mercury turns direct on the 26th and he’s gathered all the details that may have been missing beforehand. The Spring Equinox on the 20th comes with an active Full Moon that wants you to focus your energy on managing your finances and how well you’ve been managing the resources of others in your life. Are you taking on too much debt? Are you refusing the monetary and energetic investments people are trying to share with you? Find out where the disconnect is and decide what needs to change so that you feel more abundant rather than stretched too thin. Work on these elements of your life and by the time Mars enters Gemini on the 31st you’ll be feeling energized to tackle more ambitious projects that impact your career and public life more directly with a little help from your friends.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
March is the month the gets you back on track, Libra. Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon on the 5th and 6th will be pouring energy into your health and daily routines and asking you if you’ve fallen off the wagon when it comes to taking care of yourself and your day-to-day responsibilities. If the New Year resolutions to eat better, exercise and stay on top of your tasks have fallen by the wayside, then use this time to get back into a regime that feels good. If doing these things solo feels like a burden, get your friends and loves involved to help you along, and make taking care of yourself a party. Venus will be hanging out in your House of Creativity and Romance until the 26th so be sure to make an effort to enjoy yourself. Make a little art, make a little love and see how that inspires the rest of your life if you’ve been feeling a bit blah lately. The Full Moon on the first day of spring wants you to consider how you’ve been prioritizing yourself and your needs versus those of your partners. Ask yourself what needs to change, who gets to stay in your good graces and who will be leaving your life because the dynamic is no longer healthy for either of you anymore. Do the necessary spring clean head of Mars’ move into Gemini at the end of the month when he’ll be pushing you out the door to try new experiences, whether it be taking a class, trying out new cuisine or just spending time with people who broaden your view of the world in way that leaves you in awe of all the possibilities that are out there for you.
Scorpio (October 22 – November 22)
You could be feeling the desire to nestle up at home and work on your creative projects for the first half of the month, Scorpio. Between Venus shaking up in Home & Family sector and Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon lighting up your need to create, play and indulging in the pleasures of life, why go outside at all when staying under the covers either alone or with a lover is much more gratifying? Enjoy it all, but try not to get too attached to the outcomes of your love affairs or even the people that come into your life to partner with you, as Uranus will be breaking and shaking your relationships up and teaching you the value of how freedom, flexibility and rolling with unexpected can make you a more well-rounded individual. It’s fine if the sudden unpredictability in your life makes you feel a little off kilter, that’s to be expected. You can use the Full Moon on the first day of spring to help you go inward to process all the changes that have been happening around you. Allow your daydreams to guide you towards routines that get you closer to having those same dreams come into fruition. By the time Mars moves into Gemini on the 31st you’ll be ready to start coming out of your shell so that you can begin the process of transforming into the next incarnation of you.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
Home is where your heart is for the month of March, Sadge. Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon on the 5th and 6th will be drawing your attention to your home and family life where you get to recharge your batteries as well as re-envision a new dynamic for your home life. What would you like to see more of here? Perhaps you want to have more get-togethers and family dinners, or movie nights with friends, or maybe you want home to be the place that you retreat to without having to listen to or see another person for days at a time. Whatever the vision is, know that you can achieve it with a little effort on your part. The Heavens are assisting you in creating new daily routines that feel more productive and supportive to your needs, so try to roll with the changes even if they feel like they’re taking longer than usual to get under way. Don’t fret, you won’t be a homebody forever. The Full Moon taking place on the first day of spring will have you wanting to get outside the house again to see your friends and get involved in causes that leave you feeling excited for the future you’re creating. By the time Mars enters Gemini on the 31st you’ll be feeling more driven to commit and work one-on-one with others than you have before. Just remember to compromise and mind your tongue so that you don’t piss your partners off with your brutal honesty.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 20)
March is a busy month for you, Capricorn, so be prepared. Between Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon lighting up your House of Communications and Transportation you may find yourself flitting to and fro to various social engagements, classes, and talks as your email, texts and calls overflow on your phone. Take this as opportunity to review how well you’ve been staying on top of your correspondences and how well you’ve been staying connected to everyone else in your life. Staying in the flow of all the activity of your life is going to be important for you now, Seagoat. Don’t try to resist the pace of things, get onboard with it and see what comes up for you. If you’ve been feeling a little dull know that Uranus moving into your House of Creativity and Romance can bring fresh inspiration and pleasure into your life. Don’t worry so much about the rules and appear a certain way to others, just focus on getting into the flow of your creativity, put a little pressure on yourself to produce work that comes from your heart rather than from your long list of expectations. Spring brings in a determined Full Moon that wants you to realize just how much influence you have in terms of your career and reputation. Your skills, experience and work ethic are notable, Cap, and people are vying for your attention because of it. Embrace and trust that you have the stuff to make it all work. Mars moving into Gemini at the end of the month will be assisting you with creating the new routine necessary to keep up with the pace of all the amazing opportunities flowing in your life, all you have to do is say yes.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
March is a confidence building month for you, Waterbearer. Venus moves into your sign on the 1st of the month promising a lot of attention coming your way as people find you both alluring and attractive. Lean into it by investing in a little self-care, get a new haircut, try wearing brighter colors that lift your mood and make you feel confident, because why not? There’s nothing inherently wrong about standing out in a crowd, is there? Mercury Retrograde and The New Moon on the 5th and 6th want you to focus on getting your finances in order as well as leveling up your self-confidence so that you can draw more wealth and opportunities you way by being bold enough to demand and expect them to show up in your life. Review your budget and notice how much of it is being invested into you and the things that make you feel content. Uranus crosses over into your home and family life and may kick up a fuss if things have been particularly stagnant and uninspired there. Do some spring cleaning, toss out things you have no connection with anymore, envision new family dynamics that feel life giving as opposed to draining and definitely stay flexible as sudden events related to your family can occur during this time. The Full Moon on the first day of Spring will be encouraging you to reconnect with your sense of wonder and faith in the larger world again. Go out and meet new people, follow your curiosity, learn new things and examine how your life philosophies are either pushing you to expand further or clipping your spiritual and mental wings. Mars’ move into the Gemini on the 31st will light a fire under you to go out and get into mischief in the best way possible. Create, flirt, and fall in love with the pleasures of life again and watch how it lights up the rest of your life.
